"Could you not keep watch for one hour?"
Mark 14:37
St. Alphonsus Liguori once said, "Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest after the sacraments, the one dearest to God, and the one most helpful to us." In the stillness of Adoration, we are invited to draw closer to Christ, to open our hearts, and to experience His boundless love and mercy. The Adoration at St. Joseph's provides a way for parishioners and local Catholics to pray, reflect, and deepen their relationship with Christ.
Our parish offers ongoing Adoration both during the day and throughout the night on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We hope to include Tuesdays and Thursdays as soon as we have sufficient committed adorers. You do not need to sign up for a weekly commitment to visit the Adoration Chapel; all are welcome to come and spend time with Christ whenever they are able.
For security purposes, the chapel doors remain locked, and access is granted via a chapel key fob. If you do not have a key fob and wish to spend time in Adoration, or if you have key fob related issues, please call Donna at the rectory at 717-397-6921 ext. 213. Any other questions may be directed to Jacklyn at [email protected].
