Are you looking for a unique way to combine your Catholic faith with holistic care for your body and soul?FIAT Movement is a great opportunity for mothers, daughters (14 and older), and all women to pray together!

Join us for FIAT Movement, guided by parishioner Renee Kurz, Dance Movement Therapist, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, immediately following the 8:15 AM mass. The session will run from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM and will be held in the Monsignor Smith Social Hall. All women and girls age 14 and over are welcome to join us in this prayer that nurtures both body and spirit!

What to Expect

Renee will lead participants through movements involving the Rosary, flowing into movement improvisation and prayer. This experience is designed to accommodate all abilities, and no prior experience is necessary. The session will conclude with an opportunity to share personal reflections from the experience.

What to Wear

Please wear loose-fitting clothing that you feel comfortable in. You are welcome to participate barefoot, in socks, or in soft-soled shoes. The movements are low-intensity and can be performed at your own pace and ability. Chairs will be available for those who prefer them, with a focus on the movement of the heart in prayer.
