Our Intercessory Prayer Group is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, informal environment of group prayer. Intercessory prayer knows no boundaries and can also be accomplished in your own home. Each month, we pray for the renewal of our Saint Joseph Catholic community, our neighborhood, and for various specific intentions.

Let us pray that, joined in faith, hope, and love, we support all those who offer their lives in service to the Church.

This month as we start a new year, let us pray for happiness for all. It warms my heart when I help others and they can share in my happiness. Happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment and fulfillment. Happiness can give you a sense that your life is meaningful and valued. May we show others how we value them and that they are worthy of having happiness. May everyone have a happy month and help others to have a happy year.

Response:  Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

• For our parish and our world

• For all the people of the parish that we will strengthen our faith with a renewed love and relationship to the Eucharist

• For the people who are suffering from war, that they receive the strength they need and may the war end soon

• For Adoration’s many open hours to be fully filled. This will allow St. Joseph’s to move towards 24/7 adoration schedule

• For our priests, Pastor Father Pang Tcheou and Father Deogratias Rwegasira

• For our Deacon Thomas Owsinski

• For the Seven Sister Apostolate, a prayer team dedicating one hour every day of the week for our Father Pang Tcheou’s protection and intentions

• For the success of St. Joseph Club’s efforts to create new opportunities for our parish and neighbors, opening up possibilities we can’t even image by building relationships and providing services

• For our family and friends
